Head-quartered in Geneva with offices in Italy, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Egypt Quadra is a medium-sized organisation aiming to provide tailor-made solutions to its long-standing international customers and to offer a sophisticated and professional alternative in the environment of on-going grain market consolidation.

The core business of the Group is the purchase and sale of physical agricultural commodities such as wheat, corn, barley or soya beans, with related activities in Structured Trade Finance, Shipping and Logistics. Quadra has its own origination capability in Ukraine and Australia, as well as various strategic partnerships in other key origination markets.

Company history

Founded in 2010 in Geneva by the executive management team of the former Australian Wheat Board (AWB), Quadra Commodities started its operations with the financial backing of Macquarie Bank and Lansing Trade Group.

The company quickly developed its activities and diversified its products base. Through a dense network of agents, business partners and key suppliers, Quadra rapidly became a global commodity-trading firm with the ability to trade a wide range of agricultural product in any region of the world at competitive prices.

Today, Quadra is a well-recognised, highly regarded, and reliable grain trader. With offices in Italy, Spain, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Australia, Singapore and Egypt.  Quadra regularly trades in the global market and provides market solutions to a growing number of customers and business partners around the world.
